Autumn View Gardens and Stanley Healthcare partner for Technology Solutions

Assisted living apartments should feel like a true home for each resident, and that can’t happen with a one-size fits all solution. Every resident of Autumn View Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care has unique needs and goals, and our staff is sensitive to that. One way we support each resident while also maintaining the safety of the whole community is through partnerships with expert vendors and organizations, including Stanley Healthcare. Here are just some of the ways this technology protects your loved one.

Arial, a wireless emergency notification system, alerts staff if any exterior door is opened unexpectedly. Because Arial doesn’t allow a remote reset of the alert, a staff member must go to the site in question, inspect the area and ensure a community member is not locked out or wandering outside.

A Wander Management System, an upgrade from Stanley Healthcare, is installed on the front door of the community. Because many residents, family members, staff and vendors must enter and exit the community at all times of day, the front door won’t sound an alarm every time it’s opened. Instead, the technology alerts staff only when an at-risk resident travels through the door. These residents wear a small Bluetooth bracelet that lets the Wander Guard Blue system identify them.
